I need help fast! A friend of mine wants his ex-girlfriend back, after many years. She is not having it and she is very SINGLE. How does he beg her?
Buy flowers, chocolates, call, etc. I need ideas. He wants to woo her like he has never done before and he is wants her back for the long term.

He's got to be very sincere about it and be careful but firm with the way he goes about it. Why did they break up? He should ponder on these and make sure he's got his ass cobvered at the right palces- like clean up what caused the break etc...Most importantly, he gas to pray oh, my sister as in MFM type. Of course he muisn't mess up teh first opportunity he gets to contact her, that is the defining period...I wish them good luck
why did he lose her in the first place?...he may also want to brace himself for the fact that she may never return...
Good advice all around. I think honesty might be the best policy here. He needs to be sincere about why he broke up with her in the first place, even if it makes him look less appealing to her. Some girls like the vulnerability that comes from putting all your cards on the table.
Keep us posted (excuse the pun).
Now that he has decided she is the one he wants, he should go in humility making sure she understands that it is a new beginning for both of them.
He should also be very thoughtful when he wants to buy gifts- He should know what she likes considering that they have dated before.
I would drop the whole gift-giving bit. For now. In a situation like this, where the woman is obviously not a fool, resorting to romantic knick-knacks right out of the gate is sure to misfire.
The crucial thing he needs to do is get back in her good graces--Slowly. Be a friend, own up to the mistakes he made in the past and show (not tell) her that he has changed. It might take months, a year or never. Good luck to him.
